This Sisiutl pendant has been hand carved by Kwakwaka'wakw artist Harold Alfred. The brilliant designs of the piece depicts the Sisiutl which is a mystical three headed sea serpent that posses the power of transformation. This serpent is a powerful symbol in Kwakwaka'wakw tradition and is associated with protection, supernatural power and revival .
