These dangling Hummingbird earrings have been hand-carved by Kwakwaka'wakw artist Don Lancaster. He has used sterling silver to create them. There are depictions of the Hummingbird carved into the surface of the hangs.
The earrings measure 1.1/4" x 1/2" ( 3 X 1.5 CM ) including the hooks.
