These dangling pearl earrings have teardrop shaped hangs cast from sterling silver. There is a single, white pearl below the hooks and above the hangs. The head of the Bear is cast into the hangs and its snout is facing down. The mouth is large and takes up most of the hangs. There are cross hatching designs in the background of the portrait.

These dangling pearl earrings have been hand-crafted by Kwakwaka’wakw artist Carrie Matilpi. She used sterling silver and freshwater pearls to make them. The hangs have been casted and show the Bear legend.

The earrings measure approximately 1.1/2" (4cm) x 3/8" (1 cm) including the hooks.
