Karley Smith is a native of Vancouver, British Columbia. When she was 20 years old and working in a used book store, she convinced a girlfriend, looking to make extra income, that she should make jewellery. As any good friend would, Karley helped her friend and together they began creating beaded necklaces. Inevitably, it was Karley that fell in love with jewellery making.
Karley began to experiment with different colours and qualities of beads, and less than four years later her necklaces, bracelets, and earrings were being sold across Canada. She draws her inspiration from the landscape and the colour of nature around her.
She currently lives in Langley with her dog, cats, and horses.
