      Graham Henry was born in 1970 in Cowichan, British Columbia, Canada on Vancouver Island. As a member of the Cowichan Nation Coast Salish People, Graham’s work reflects the Kwakwaka’wakw (formerly Kwakiutl) style. Graham’s family crest is the sun. Graham learned carving from his brother, Travis Henry, as well as the well-known and respected Seaweed family, a well-regarded carver from Alert Bay. He has been carving actively for more than twelve years, and his silver and gold jewellery can be found throughout Western Canada. He currently lives in Victoria, British Columbia.
