Master Engraver and Jeweller,  Fred Myra is Tlingit Indigenous and has been making jewellery since 1988.  Fred is a creative perfectionist, whose jewellery and unique designs reflect a high quality that captures the pride of his heritage.  His exquisite work has caught the eyes of the media and art collectors internationally.

Fred is especially well known for his attention to detail, particularly in recreating bird feathers in the mediums of silver and gold.

Solitaire Hummingbird Ring with Rhodolite Garnet by Fred Myra. The artist has hand-carved the profile of two hummingbird bodies on either side of the rhodolite garnet he has set in the center of the ring. The background of the ring has been hand-carved into a neat crisscross pattern to allow for the hummingbirds to stand out. The garnet has been set using a 14k gold claw setting. The ring tapers down at the back.

This sterling silver pendant is shaped like and has carvings on the surface of it that depict the Wind Spirit. The Wind Spirit is depicted being in the middle of many decorative "wind gusts". The eye of the Wind Spirit is a large garnet gemstone mounted on 14K gold.

This Hummingbird ring has a sterling silver wide band that wraps around the finger twice. The top band is carved to depict the head of the Hummingbird and the bottom one depicts its wing with a flower beside it.. There is are rhondite garnet gems that are embedded in 14K gold in the eye of the legend and the flower at the bottom of the piece.
