These dangling teardrop earrings have teardrop shaped hangs cast from sterling silver. There is a single, white pearl below the hooks and above the hangs. The head of the Eagle is cast into the hangs and its beak is facing down. The beak is large, curves down at the end and takes up most of the hangs. There are cross hatching designs in the background of the portrait.

These dangling pearl earrings silver have been hand crafted by Kwakwaka’wakw artist Carrie Matilpi. She used sterling silver and freshwater pearls to make these Eagle earrings. The hangs have been casted and show the Eagle legend.

The earrings measure approximately 1.1/2" (4cm) x 3/8" (1 cm) including the hooks.
